I am a native Californian with 30+ years of corporate and military experience working in management and sales with private industry, public agencies, and the military. Whether as a department head officer onboard a Navy ship or a senior account manager for an international chemical manufacturer, I have continually assumed positions of responsibility that have broadened the basis of my experience in life. It was a natural fit for me when I made decision to become a professional fiduciary.
In early 2014, I read an article in USA Today regarding professional guardians for elders who had lost most or all of their capacity to care for themselves on a daily basis. As our culture evolves and grows, there is growing demand for these services when there is no responsible family member or friend in close geographic proximity able to step in to assume this vital role. It seemed like a great idea for a new career and the opportunity to give back overseeing the lives of those more vulnerable in life. After a bit of research, I discovered the professional fiduciary program here in California learning about the wide array of services they provide to elders and the public not typically addressed by a specific profession.
My background of education, careers and life experiences enabled me with the skill sets to perform the services I offer with the highest degree of confidence on your behalf. Every experience has taught me how to maturely make the best decisions with all of the information I can gather. Additionally, I have associated myself with an outstanding group of supporting professionals that includes estate planning attorneys, bankers, financial advisors, accountants, real estate agents and geriatric services professionals. We are very fortunate to live in an area where all of these folks work together to provide complete, outstanding service to this aspect of our lives.
We’ve lived in the Placer County foothills since 2000, moving here from San Diego County for career moves for both my wife and myself along with a change of lifestyle for our family. Since then, our lives have flourished while our daughter grew up in a beautiful part of the state and now attends UC Davis.
